A gain but staying positive
I’ve gained 1lb this week but I’m staying positive. It’s a small blip but I’ll just have to try a little harder next week.
I think I need to up the exercise, I seem to spend my entire life sat down. I just need to find something I can do in my flat which won’t terrify the downstairs neighbours!

Yeah a pounds nothing when you consider how much you’ve already lost. Good attitude to have!!
One pound? I wish my scale would tell me that. Depending on where i put it on the floor, im anywhere from 189-195.
Plus, it could just be a little fluid retention.
Hey Sue, I’m glad to see that you’re not beating yourself up! You know, something I like for at home exercise is “Walk Away the Pounds” DVDs. They have them for all levels (starting with a one mile for beginners), and they’re low impact. You would be moving, but not jumping around. I love these DVDs and I’m generally uncoordinated lol, but I can follow these. Just a thought.
Anyway, keep up that great positive attitude, it will be the key to your success!
Why is it we go nuts over a pound down and get depressed over a pound up. I can weigh a pound less in the morning if I piddle. Don’t worry about it at all…. the long term process is all that matters. Look at your lovely graph.
Keep on truckin’

Karen is so right…. a pound in the grand scheme of things is nothing! You have a great graph! Maybe a little walk around your neighborhood? That wouldn’t bother your neighbors, and you would get the extra exercise using the stairs to go in and out instead of the lift? You are doing so well, keep at it!

Great attitude Sue - that pesky little pound will disapear next week.
I wish I had the point of view that you do…such determination….=) You probably just ate something a little salty and are retaining a bit of water….The Walk Away the pounds videos are a great idea too! In fact…those are on my hit list as well…
I say great job for the right frame of mind!!
Thanks guys, I’ve just been taking a look for those DVDs but they are region 1 so they won’t work over here. I’ll have to try to find something else.
Some weeks the scale goes in the wrong direction, or doesn’t move. Keep up the willpower and the activity and you will start losing again.
Thanks for the advice about the squash too. I’ll check it out when I am at the supermarket.

Yeah, 1 lb is nothing more than a small blip in the whole scheme of things. You’re doing great otherwise. Can you get outside for a walk around the neighborhood? That’s always a good, easy way to get some exercise in. Keep on keeping on! You’ll get there!
